Dr Pooja Sharma

Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. An alumnus of Miranda House, University of Delhi, she completed her Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, MPhil and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and Ph.D. fellow at the University of Agder (Norway). Her contribution varies in the fields of Energy security, Energy transition, Renewable energy, Human Capital, and Gandhian perspective on energy transition. She has contributed several modules on various fields of Economics for the e-Pathshala (Online MOOCS) MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development, India) project, e-content for IGNOU, and e-content for the School of Open Learning University of Delhi. She has several papers in national and international journals related to energy security, Energy transition, Renewable energy, and Human Capital. She is engaged in a CEC UGC live lecture series on Environmental Economics, Climate change, and Sustainability. She has published papers in reputed journals and contributed chapters in several books, including Applied Spirituality and Sustainable Development Policy. She has contributed two books on Gandhian thoughts, “Through the Lens of Mahatma: Journey of a Migrant” and “Living in Truth: The Gandhian Paradigm.”
